Weekend weather report: Gloomy | The Bainbridge Blab

Mother Nature is going to make Bainbridge Island wet again.

That’s the forecast for this weekend, according to the National Weather Service’s office in Seattle.

Showers are likely Saturday on the island, mainly after 10 a.m. The chance of precipitation is 70 percent, and up to a quarter of an inch of rain is possible. The day will be cloudy, with a high near 47 degrees.

It will remain cloudy overnight, with the chance of more rain and a low around 38.

On Sunday, expect more rain as the chance of precipitation stays about 70 percent. It also will stay cloudy, with a high near 48.

Sunday night will be mostly cloudy, with a 50 percent chance of showers.

Heading into next week, there will likely be clouds Monday and some showers.

Things will improve by midweek, with party sunny skies forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday.
