Waterbed inventor Charles Hall visits BARN

Are you a tinkerer?

Have you ever had an idea for a cool product, but didn’t know how to make it happen?

Bainbridge Artisan Resource Network will host Charles Hall, the inventor of the waterbed and the summer shower, and holder of 40 other patents, Sunday, Sept. 30 for a talk.

Whether you are a garage inventor, a designer/maker or a student interested in hearing some great stories, Hall will answer your questions about how to bring your ideas to life. He turned a graduate school project into an icon of the 1960s: the waterbed. And that was just the beginning of a life as an inventor, entrepreneur and successful business owner that continues today.

The cost of admission is free for BARN members; $10 per person for non-members.
