Anthony and Christine Farrell and Bob Ross were the judges of the 2018 Tomato Taste Off at the Bainbridge Island Farmers Market Saturday, Aug. 25.

The yearly contest saw nearly 20 entries of various size, shape and delicacy (including one tomato-based sorbet), which were all put to the taste test by the judging trio after cake was cut and shared in honor of the market’s 25th anniversary.

The 2018 winners are LeapFrog Farm (general), David Henry (beefsteak), Powell & Jones (ice cream) and Persephone Farm (cherry).
