Ten-Minute Play Festival seeks submissions

Island Theatre is accepting submissions of original 10-minute plays by established and aspiring Kitsap County playwrights for its eighth annual Ten-Minute Play Festival.

The deadline for submissions is Thursday, Feb. 14.

Winning plays will be selected by a panel of theatre professionals and will be announced in April. Each of the eight to 10 plays selected will be fully staged using local actors and directors, and each will be performed three times over the weekend of Aug. 16 and Aug. 17 at Bainbridge Performing Arts.

This contest is open to all playwrights, high school age and above, who are past or present residents of Kitsap County or have a strong Kitsap County connection.
