Pianist to play at next First Sundays Concert

Pianist Elizabeth Dorman will perform at the First Sundays Concert to kick off the 2019 year.

Dorman will play at 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6 at Waterfront Park Community Center.

Dorman resides in the San Fransisco Bay area and is known for her engaging and polished performances. Michael Tilson Thomas, music director of the San Francisco Symphony calls Dorman “a skilled and multi-talented musician with “tremendous style, elegance and virtuosity.”

For her Bainbridge Island concert, she will be performing a program she took to the Leigzip Bach competition this year that includes a set of Scarlatti sonatas, Bach’s “English Suite No. 5,” Mozart Sonata K.533, and Mendelssohn variations.
