Oyster and wine pairing class at Verjus

Chef Brendan McGill will host an afternoon of oysters and wine on Sunday, Jan. 29. The class will be held at Verjus from 3 to 5 p.m.

Guests will be treated to a brief oyster history lesson followed by instruction on how to properly shuck one yourself. McGill will also cover great oyster accompaniments like a classic mignonette. There will also be wine pairings with the oysters and discussion about pairings by Tahlia Bolden, Hitchcock’s beverage director.
