First Sundays Concerts opens its 2018 season with “Music for the New Year,” a program of 18th century music on period instruments performed by Janet See on flute, Linda Melsted on violin and Jillyn Stoppels on harpsichord.

All three musicians are world class performers of Baroque music and the concert will include works by Corelli, Telemann, Couperin, Vivaldi and J.S. Bach. The program is 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 7 at Waterfront Park Community Center.
