Island Center Hall hosts DJ-mix dance Saturday

Island Center Hall will host a community dance with a versatile DJ mix guaranteed to keep your feet moving at 8 p.m. Saturday, June 8.

The night beings with a dance workshop mixer from 7:15 to 8 p.m.

The dance follows from 8 to 10 p.m. Music will include Swing, Waltz, Blues, Country, West Coast, Night Club 2, Ballroom and Latin.

Admission is $10 at the door and includes the workshop mixer.

The dance is alcohol- and smoke-free. Singles and couples, adults and teens are welcome. Dances should wear non-marking shoes with clean soles; bring munchies and beverages to share.

Island Center Hall is at 8395 Fletcher Bay Road. The hall hosts monthly live music and DJ events on the second Saturday of every month.
