Bainbridge library hosts Seattle authors for Night Out

The Bainbridge Public Library will host — as part of the Booklovers Night Out event — Seattle 7 authors Erica Bauermeister, Carol Cassella, Claire Dederer, Laurie Frankel and Kevin O’Brien from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8.

In addition to appetizers, wine and special raffle prizes, guests will have an opportunity to celebrate, join, or even start a book group, as well. The event is a fundraiser for the Bainbridge Public Library, the separate entity that owns and maintains the library building and grounds.

“BPL relies on generous donations from our local community rather than tax dollars,” said spokeswoman Mary Hall.

The event is co-sponsored by Eagle Harbor Book Company.

Tickets are available to purchase at Eagle Harbor Books or on line at www.eventbrite.com. The cost is $35 per person, and you must be 21 and over to attend.

Tickets will not be sold at the door.
