To the editor:

I would like to call special attention to Bainbridge Islanders of an outstanding candidate for the island school board. Our family has known Christina Wakefield for many years because she married a close friend of our son George.

Christina is smart, well educated, a super mom, and a dedicated educator. Her work both here and abroad has been outstanding and she offers us a new voice and opportunity for leadership. I think that she will do an incredible job if elected.

Please give her your fullest consideration when you mark your ballot. Many thanks. We are lucky to have candidates like Christina Wakefield.
