The city of Bainbridge Island needs Joe Deets | Letter to the editor

To the editor:

Joe Deets is of that special breed, part community organizer and part entrepreneur. I have known him for many years and believe strongly that he will be a great addition to the Bainbridge Island City Council.

Bainbridge is home to amazing, talented, and giving people. When I attend city council meetings I am struck by the positive engagement from many citizens here.

Joe will certainly add to that, for he listens carefully to all sides; something that we will need in order to have fair and balanced governance on the island.

I also know that Joe will focus on the pressing issues of balancing future growth with the island’s beauty and resources, housing availability and affordability, and city fiscal responsibility.

Joe can and will distill a range of opinions into thoughtful action. Please join with me and vote for him in November.
