Community will benefit from a better library | Letter to the editor

There are many good reasons to vote “yes” for library funding on this fall’s ballot. A few of them are: activities for children and youth, such as story times; after school and summer programs; LEGO club; and many others.

The Kitsap Regional Library system provides free use of computers, electronic books, community meeting spaces, book and movie discussion groups, as well as assistance for small businesses.

There are arts and craft projects, writers workshops, genealogy classes, and audio and large-print books.

Current funding cannot keep pace with inflation. Please support our Kitsap Regional Library system when you cast your ballot. We all benefit from a vibrant library.
