Sign, sign, everywhere a sign | Letter to the editor

To the editor:

Is there any possibility that after our Bainbridge Island City Council rids our Island of balloons — that they take on something much more annoying?

The Island is overrun with hundreds of political signs encouraging us to vote for some of the same council members who want to save us from a few balloons!

How about legislation that would ban this practice going forward? Then we might actually be able to see the landscaping in the traffic circle at High School Road and Madison Avenue.

Just a thought.
