To the editor: The article about protesting and boycotting the proposed shopping center makes me laugh.
To the editor: The singers of Amabile and I would like to thank Lee and Marianne Jorgenson and the San Carlos Restaurant for their amazing donation to the Amabile Choir.
To the editor: Campaign season is upon us and that means a fresh crop of political signs.
To the editor: We would like to thank a number of people who were involved in the effort to save the madrone trees in downtown Winslow. First, the Review for such a great picture and for their interest in the tree saving effort.
To the editor: It was fun to read about the recent Scotch broom parade with its quirky Island history.
To the editor: I guess I have become a hater! I was unfortunate enough to purchase a property next to someone that owns a rooster.
To the editor: One of your staff writers (Cecilia Garza) wrote an interesting article quoting John Jacobi, the owner of “the family-friendly shopping and community center” at Lynwood extensively. She suggested that we would have to wait for a community pool to be built at Lynwood (or jump off Point White!) before being able to really enjoy an outdoor community pool.
To the editor: I am sure that those attempting to start legal pot businesses on the Island have good intentions and I don’t want to suggest otherwise. However, if retail sales and the growing of pot on Bainbridge is such a community “good” and so important to our “pursuit of happiness” and “tolerance,” why is the community and the city council trying to relegate the pot enterprises to the “out of sight, out of mind” Day Road Industrial Park?
To the editor: The city council of Bainbridge Island has just outlawed medical marijuana on Bainbridge Island by destroying all collective medical gardens on the island.
To the editor: The Bainbridge Fireworks Organization needs your help to raise $31,000 for the 2014 show. Without the community’s immediate help, we will not reach our goal this year.
To the editor: I have been following the public records lawsuit brought by Bainbridge Islanders Althea Paulson and Bob Fortner with great interest.
To the editor: Dealing with a doggy No. 2 is a three-step process.
To the editor: I want to give a happy shout out to a painting company that serves Bainbridge Island and who is working to make our Island a more beautiful place.
