To the editor:

In recognition of the great work the Bainbridge Performing Arts Theatre School continues to do for the island community, our band, Good Karma Blues, is putting on a benefit concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2 at BPA.

This is a high-energy live blues rock performance integrated with large-screen film clips. Band members are Michael Almodovar (drummer), Joe Van Dyke (lead guitarist/singer), Mike Lisagor (harmonica player/singer), Elray Konkel (bass guitarist/singer), and Jordan Petri (keyboard player/singer) along with vocalist, Shannon Dowling, and several BPA Theatre School youth performers.

Tickets are $20 at www.bainbridgeperformingarts.org/products/the-good-karma-bluesical and in person at BPA, 200 Madison Ave. North, or by phone at 206-842-8569. BPA Box Office hours are 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and one hour prior to each performance.

All proceeds will benefit the BPA Theatre School, which offers year-round classes and camps for students of all ages and experience levels.
