Jones is best qualified for council | Letter to the editor

To the editor:

I’ve known Ted Jones for over 20 years and I’m supporting him for Bainbridge City Council.

Given the issues that Bainbridge Island is facing, affordable housing, controlling future development, protecting our environment, improving our infrastructure and enhancing island transportation, Ted Jones has the resume that best qualifies him as an asset on the city council.

His professional experience as a civil engineer, a program and project manager that has made significant progress toward the cleanup of environmentally contaminated sites throughout Alaska, Washington and Oregon; built military bases that are equivalent to cities like Bainbridge Island, and maintained infrastructure at all the Navy bases in Washington, In addition as a trained Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Ted has facilitated groups for continuous improvement.

Our community knows Ted. He’s given his time and his talents to this island for two decades. Our island would benefit greatly by electing Ted Jones as a city councilman.
