Jones can help get things done | Letter to the editor

To the editor:

As one who cares about our environment, true fiscal responsibility and progressive issues, I am heartened by Ted Jones’ candidacy for the Bainbridge Isalnd City Council.

He has been an active and contributing member of our community for years. But above all I am impressed with Ted’s support of innovation and willingness to learn from the best ideas and programs that other communities have employed successfully.

We need real innovation in our approaches to non-motorized transportation, affordable housing, growth management and safeguarding our local environment.

The time for sound bites is over; we need someone who can get things done. I look forward to casting my vote this fall for Ted Jones.
