History will remember those who stood up | Letter to the editor

To the editor:

Thanks for your editorial decrying the President’s dangerous denunciation of our free press as an “enemy of the people.”

The Review, more than most publications, has a tradition to uphold here. In the 1940s, it spoke up when many papers wouldn’t against the tyranny of that era, the forceable internal deportation of our fellow citizens from this Island. History has shown that as the right and just position and it is to this paper’s credit that it was brave enough to take it.

History will not long remember this make-believe reality TV President, but will remember as equally right and just those who stood up to his official bullying and non-stop falsehoods.
