Congratulations on a great event | Letter to the editor

To the editor:

If you missed Weaving Histories at BIMA last month, you missed a wonderful exhibit and celebration of Black History Month. Congratulations to everyone who participated, particularly all the young — and young at heart — who rocked the foundation of the museum with music, dance, great food and celebration.

We showed a short video of the celebration to few high schoolers and they quickly said, “Wow — on Bainbridge?”

Thanks to all the youth, everyone who participated, Karen Vargus and BIMA for their energy and soulful celebration.
