Dancers from Bainbridge, as well as Seattle and Kitsap County, will perform “The Nutcracker” as part of Olympic Performance Group’s production of the holiday classic. Performances are 7 p.m. Dec. 18, and 2 and 6 p.m. Dec. 19 and 20 at North Kitsap Auditorium, 1881 N.E. Hostmark St. in Poulsbo.

Sara Cramer, founder of Olympic Performance Group and owner of Bainbridge Ballet, plays the Sugar Plum Fairy and Garrett Gibbons is the Prince.

Stephanie Gohd-Clarke, a teacher at Bainbridge Ballet, is the Snow Queen and Marisa Haga takes a turn as the Dew Drop Ferry. Alex Ung, who teaches street hip hop and jazz at Bainbridge Ballet brings some attitude to the Mouse King role.

Intermission will feature a demonstration dance by Bainbridge Ballet’s new ballroom teachers, Gibbons and his wife Jill.

Bainbridge Ballet opened in 2003. Cramer established the nonprofit Olympic Performance Group in 2004, which puts on annual productions such as “The Nutcracker” and a spring show.

Tickets for “The Nutracker” are $20 for adults and $16 for students and seniors, and are available at Winslow Drugs, KiDiMu, and Bainbridge Ballet. For more information, visit cmears@bainbridgereview.com or (206) 842-6613.
