Ovation! Musical Theatre Bainbridge presents the final performances of the Andrew Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice groundbreaking rock opera “Jesus Christ Superstar” at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20; Saturday, Dec. 21 and 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 22 at the Bainbridge High School Theatre.

The story is told from the point-of-view of Judas Iscariot, played by Ryan Patrick O’Donnell in his Ovation! debut, and Gary Chambers plays the pivotal role of Jesus of Nazareth, a role he played for Bremerton Community Theatre.

Michelle Lorenz Odell stars as Mary Magdalene, Matthew Cordell as Pontius Pilate, Chip Wood as Caiaphas, Nelson Spickard as Herod, Todd Baylor as Simon Zealotes and Sean Parker as Annas. The production will be presented with a live rock orchestra featuring Justin S Davis on lead guitar.

The show is directed by Ron Milton with musical direction by Brandon Peck and choreography by Debbie Pierce. Choreography is by Debbie Pierce and costume design by April Spain.
