Photographer leads downtown workshop

Following her terrifically successful June workshop “In the field” at Bloedel Reserve, Kay Walsh takes to the streets of Winslow for a hands-on photography and editing workshop from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17 and Aug. 24.

The class will start at Bainbridge Arts & Crafts and then make its way around town as Walsh guides students with instruction on exposure, composition and new techniques for getting the best results in color and black-and-white. The following Saturday, she’ll offer a critique and further demos at her home studio.

Tuition is $120; $100 for BAC members and $90 for students.

To register, stop by BAC or call 206-842-3132.
