Kids can explore the mysteries below at special library program

The Bainbridge Public Library hosts the kids’ program “Down the Drain!” at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 19.

Ever wonder what happens when you flush the toilet? How about where the water goes after your bath or washing your hands? A representative from Bainbridge Island Public Works Department will give a fun, informative presentation about Bainbridge Island’s underground systems for water and sewage.

The free program is for kids ages 6 through 10.  After the presentation, children can stay for some great hands-on mini-engineering projects and crafts.
