Bainbridge Library presents Haiku and Limerick Workshop for kids

The Bainbridge Public Library will help celebrate National Poetry Month with a Haiku and Limerick Workshop at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 4.

The free program is for kids in grades one through four, and youngsters can learn about these short, fun forms of poetry and write some of their own.

Whether it's 17 syllables or five rhyming lines, students will get to explore their creativity and try expressing their ideas in just a few words.
