Next poncho walk has farming theme

The next poncho walk is 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3. The group will meet at the farm stand on Day Road East by the water tower.

The walk will last about 90 minutes and go three miles. Bart Berg, Friends of the Farm board member, will lead it and give a short talk about island farming at the beginning. The walkers will return via the newly built Wilkes Elementary.

The walk is sponsored by GO! Bainbridge, a program of Sustainable Bainbridge.
