In honor of Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday, the Anzanga Marimba Ensemble will feature the lively and beautiful melodies of Southern Africa at a special performance at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11 at Bainbridge Performing Arts.

For more than 20 years, the Seattle-based ensemble has brought the electrifying and energizing music of African marimba to festivals, cultural events, schools and more. Visit online at www.myspace.com/anzanga.
