Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra is holding auditions for its 2013 Young Artist Concerto Competition.

Players of all instruments — including strings, woodwinds, brass, piano, percussion, harp and voice — are welcome to audition. Applicants should be between the ages of 12 and 21 as of the competition date (Jan. 27), and they needn’t be residents of Bainbridge Island.

Interested musicians are encouraged to visit online at www.bainbridgeperformingarts.org/products/2013-young-artist-concerto-competition to view and download the application, competition requirements and a complete listing of competition rules.

The competition will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27 at Bainbridge Performing Arts. One winner will be chosen to perform with the Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra on May 31 and June 2.

The winner will get the opportunity to work with Maestro Wesley Schulz and the privilege of performing with the Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra.
