Writers celebrate their favorite places

November 14, 2012 · 9:09 AM

Eagle Harbor Books hosts the program “My Bookstore: Writers Celebrate Their Favorite Places to Browse, Read, and Shop” with Jonathan Evison at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15.

Come join in a celebration of independent bookstores and booksellers. In this enthusiastic, heartfelt and sometimes humorous ode to bookshops and booksellers, 76 known authors pay tribute to the brick-and-mortar stores they love and often call their second homes — including Evison’s tribute of Eagle Harbor Books.

“In My Bookstore,” some of the nation’s greatest authors write about the pleasure, guidance, and support that their favorite bookstores and booksellers have given them over the years.

Eagle Harbor Books is at 157 Winslow Way East.
