The Visually Impaired Persons Book Group will discuss “The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot” at its meeting at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2 at the Bainbridge Public Library.

The book recounts the unbelievable but true story of an African-American woman whose cells have been unknowingly used for scientific research since the 1950s. The group uses audio books from the Washington Talking Books and Braille Library.
