Traveling photo exhibit comes to Bloedel Reserve

Bloedel Reserve hosts “The Owl and the Woodpecker in Washington,” a traveling exhibit showcasing photographs by noted nature photographer Paul Bannick, through Nov. 30.

The photos are accompanied by interpretive panels that provide details on the images, and the exhibit is complemented by audio of bird calls and drumming recorded by audio-naturalist Martyn Stewart.

Bannick is known for his award-winning work as a photographer, artist and conservationist.

“The Owl and the Woodpecker in Washington” was organized by the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture on the University of Washington campus, which hosted the most recent showing of the exhibit.

The Bannick photo exhibit was made possible through a generous sponsorship by Town & Country Market.

Admission to the photo exhibit is free with paid admission to the reserve. Children 12 and under are admitted free.
