Uncle Bonsai to perform at Island Center Hall

October 19, 2012 · 10:56 AM

Uncle Bonsai returns to Bainbridge for its annual show at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20 at Island Center Hall.

Bonsai is in its 31st year, and continues to write and perform songs that survey the landscape of human foible and dishes it up in three-part, intricate polyphony. Some of the latest skewered subjects include teachers (as viewed by survivalists), and the unbearable merging of two separate words (such as “all right”).

Tickets are $20 at the door or $15 in advance ($13 seniors/students/military).

Tickets available online at www.brownpapertickets.com and at Vern’s Winslow Drug.
