Bainbridge Library hosts teen read-in
October 19, 2012 · 10:41 AM
There will be a Teen Read Week “read-in” from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20 at the Bainbridge Public Library.
Teen Read Week is Oct. 14-20, and the library will celebrate with an after-hours library read-in for students in grades seven through 12. Bring a pillow, find a cozy spot, and curl up with a good book. The library will have plenty of breaks for pizza, snacks, games, scary stories and prizes.
Special guest Suzanne Selfors will do a reading and Q&A on her new novel “The Sweetest Spell.” To tie in with the chocolate theme in her book, local candy shop Bon Bon will be on hand with some fun and tasty chocolates.
Sign-up at the reference desk or email sgraen@krl.org. Participants must sign in at the program with a phone number of an adult who can be reached during the program, and must be picked up promptly at 10 p.m.
