Appraisal fair at next Art Walk

The Bargain Boutique will be hosting an appraisal fair at its Bainbridge store during the next Art Walk.

Local antique dealer John DeNassis of Pastiche and Richard Barrett of Lionheart Antiques will be present to help identify items that people bring in. The event will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5.

There will be no charge, but the Bargain Boutique will accept cash donations. October is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, and gifts will be designated for this important cause.

People who wish to get an appraisal will be issued a ticket upon arrival, which will be good for a verbal appraisal for two items. Organizers of the event said tickets are limited, so plan to arrive early.
