Library presents fan-making class

A free Japanese fan-making workshop will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25 at the Bainbridge Public Library.

Sixth generation fan makers Kanji and Naomi Ishizumi will teach their craft at a special workshop on the art of Japanese fans. Call or stop by the library to register; materials fee of $20 will be collected at beginning of program. All participants will make a personalized fan out of paper and wood. Pre-registration is required; call 842-4162.
