Jeannie Ream presents “Online Research for Writers: Tips, Tricks and Strategies” at a Field’s End Writers’ Roundtable at 7 p.m. Aug. 21 at the Bainbridge Public Library.

Ream will help writers learn how to locate information from a variety of online resources by offering strategies for determining what is credible and reliable. Participants may bring their laptops to connect to the library’s wireless network.

Ream has a master’s degree in library science from the University of Washington Information School and has provided research assistance and tech support to library users all over Kitsap County.

Field’s End monthly Roundtables are free and open to writers of all levels and interests. The evening includes a question-and-answer period and closes with an opportunity to network with other writers. The event is free and no registration is required.
