Grupo Meridional performs at next Front Porch Summer Concert

Village Music presents the exciting and dynamic Latin jazz band Grupo Meridional at the next Front Porch Summer Concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8.

If you like Caribbean, Cuban and Brazilian grooves, then check out this group. Led by Bainbridge Island guitarist Alan Simcoe, Grupo Meridional is earning a name for itself with its progressive take on Choro, Calypso and other South American styles. The concert is free, though donations will be accepted.

Village Music is located next to the Lynwood Theater at 4569 Lynwood Center Road.
