Local author speaks at Eagle Harbor Book Company

Bainbridge Island author and legendary Eagle Harbor bookseller Ann Combs will talk about her warm, laugh-out-loud story of life on Bainbridge when it was still a small town, captured in her book “Once Upon a Two by Four,” at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5 at Eagle Harbor Book Company.

This reissue of her classic tale will delight readers old and new. Combs is a former columnist for the Seattle P-I, and the author of the books “Smith College Never Taught Me How to Salute” and “We’ll Laugh About This, Someday,” and the children’s book “How Old is Old.”
