Denise Frisino shares her book “Whiskey Cove” at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 15 at Eagle Harbor Book Company.

Set in the 1970s in the Pacific Northwest, this novel is steeped with research on the bootlegging era and portrays the tumultuous times of a changing society ruled by the unquenched demand for booze and the law that worked both sides.
