Island Film Group to screen frightening film
July 10, 2012 · Updated 11:14 AM
The Island Film Group will watch “The Exorcist” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 11 at the Bainbridge Public Library.
"The Exorcist" is directed by William Friedkin and rated R. One of the most powerful and shocking films ever produced, this 1973 film and all-time box office smash is based on the 1949 case in which a Jesuit priest expelled a demon from a 14-year-old child in St. Louis. It is adapted from William Peter Blatty's best-selling novel.
The film group meets on the second Wednesday of the month for free films and discussion.
