First-ever Island Story Slam comes to Treehouse Café

Field’s End hosts a first-ever Island Story Slam at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 10 at the Treehouse Café. Anyone with a true story that can be told in five minutes — without notes — is invited.

Stories should relate to the theme “Away From Home.”

A panel of judges will select the top three winners. The evening will be emceed by Bhama Roget of The Edge Improv and Seattle Rep fame, and the panel is led by film, stage and television actress/director Dinah Manoff.

The slam is open to the public with a $5 suggested donation to Field’s End.
