Island Film Group gathers for James Stewart comedy classic

May 5, 2012 · Updated 10:52 AM

The Island Film Group will gather for a screening of "Harvey" at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 9 at the Bainbridge Public Library.

The group gathers every second Wednesday of the month for free films and discussion.

"Harvey" stars James Stewart in a classic comedy about Elwood, a good-natured man with a 6-foot-tall rabbit that only he can see. When his sister tries to have him committed, a mix-up occurs and she is committed instead, leaving it up to Elwood and "Harvey" to straighten out the mess.
