Island Theatre at the Library presents 'The 5th of July'

Island Theatre at the Library presents “The 5th of July” by Lanford Wilson at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 21 and Sunday, April 22.

The play, written by Lanford Wilson and directed by Sara Anne Scribner, stars Fred Saasm, Fred Nicholson, Cindy Johnson, Emma Saas, David R. McGee, Karla Cole, Chris Kolbegger and Diane Walker.

Set on the evening of Independence day and the morning after Fifth of July explores the aftermath of the exuberant and optimistic days of the 1960s in the lives of 4 college friends, now older and somewhat wiser.

The performances are free, but donations are appreciated.
