The Battle Point Astronomical Association presents the show “Colors of the Cosmos” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 14 at the Ritchie Observatory in Battle Point Park.

Why are some nebulas red, others blue? Why is Mars red, while three other planets are blue, and our Sun yellow? Why are there no green stars? Is pink a real color? Astronomer Dave Fong reveals the mysteries of cosmic colors.
