Kids can hear survival stories at the Bainbridge Library

The Bainbridge Public Library presents “Real-Life Survival Stories” at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 3 for kids in grades five and up.

Love “The Hunger Games” and want to learn more about survival? Learn tips and hear stories from survival expert Teresa Barnet, a long-time member of Kitsap Search and Rescue.

Barnet is a retired Navy Hospital Corpsman and has worked with several Marine units. A search-and-rescue dog will also be joining Barnet.

We encourage an open exchange of ideas on this story's topic, but we ask you to follow our guidelines for respecting community standards. Personal attacks, inappropriate language, and off-topic comments may be removed, and comment privileges revoked, per our Terms of Use.
