Robert Burns Night event cancelled because of weather | Kitsap Week

BREMERTON — The Robert Burns Night event in Bremerton is cancelled because of the weather.
The event is featured in Kitsap Week in Friday's edition of the Bainbridge Island Review, Bremerton Patriot, Central Kitsap Reporter, North Kitsap Herald and Port Orchard Independent.
"The weather isn't working in our favor for the Robert Burns Night event this Friday evening at St. Paul's — Bremerton," Larry Dugan emailed. "Red McWilliams and the Tacoma Scots Pipe Band are our main performers and they come from Puyallup, Tacoma and south. Rain and slightly warmer weather is forecast for (Friday), but there is no assurance the performers and people planning to attend could/would make it to the church Friday evening.
"As a result, the Burns Night committee has decided to cancel the event. Hopefully, we can reschedule it in the next month or two."
