The seventh annual Bike for Pie ride starts at 9 a.m. Sunday at Marge Williams Center, 221 Winslow Way West, across from Winslow Green.

Participants must pre-register this year to limit the number to 300 riders to ensure enough pie to go around.

Sign up at BI Cycles, Classic Cycle or online at www.active.com. The $15 entry fees help support bicycle advocacy on Bainbridge Island.

The informal ride includes a stop where participants can enjoy sweet and savory pies.

The Challenge ride costs $15; the Family ride $5. Challenge riders get a 28-mile loop on hilly Bainbridge and two pie stops. Family riders get a gentle 12-mile ride (six miles each way) and one pie stop.
