Arvanatidis, Knight to wed
BHS grad Abigail Knight accepted Vasili Arvanatidis’ proposal of marriage last May while the couple was snowshoeing on Mt. Rainier.
They plan to be wed by Judge J. Robin Hunt on Aug. 8 at Semiahmoo in Blaine, Wash., and then honeymoon in the Greek Isles.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Larry Knight and Marianne Wiley of Bainbridge Island. She is a senior recruiter with EQQUS Technologies.
The groom-to-be is the son of Nick and Athena Arvanatidis of Menlo Park, Calif. He nears his completion of studies for a master’s degree in finance from Seattle University.
The couple met 11 years ago, before they graduated from the University of Puget Sound. They plan to live on Seattle’s Queen Anne Hill.
