Spartronics place 39th at world championships

The Bainbridge High School robotics team, the Spartronics, placed 39th out of the 100 teams in their division at the recent FIRST Robotics Competition 2014 World Championship competition in St. Louis, Missouri.

Four divisions, consisting of 100 teams each, came together for the event. Countries represented included Israel, France, Canada, Mexico, Holland and many more.

It was a successful end for the team’s debut year, said Spartronics Head Coach Enrique Chee.
