Bainbridge Island Library presents rain garden workshop

A rain garden workshop will be held from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, April 5 at the Bainbridge Public Library.

Learn the basics of why where, and how to build your own rain garden.

Stormwater runoff has become the major pollution source of Puget Sound and a critical issue. Learn how rain gardens can make a significant difference in reducing pollution and how a rain garden can be both a functional and attractive addition to your landscape.

The free class will be presented by WSU Extension-trained Rain Garden Mentors Judy Cole-Martin, Ellen Gunderson, Cheryl Bosley and Omie Kerr.
