Sean Fraga of Bainbridge Island recently completed his first semester in the graduate program at Princeton where he is a doctoral student in history.

Fraga, who graduated from Bainbridge High in 2006, received his bachelor of arts degree in American studies, with distinction, from Yale College in 2010. His senior thesis reconstructed the brief life of Transcontinental Air Transport, America’s first major domestic passenger airline, and was awarded the Yale Man-uscripts and Archives Prize for outstanding re-search.

Before matriculating at Princeton, Fraga lived and worked in New York City, where he held positions at Architectural Digest and D.E. Shaw & Co.

He is the son of Jeff and Kathe Fraga of Bainbridge Island.
